Just got back from District 9, I gotta say it sure wasn’t what I expected.
From the viral campaign and press it did seem that it would be much creepier but other that a creepy shoot’em up Sci-fi flick crawling with evil aliens ready to attack from the shadows District 9 let the aliens be seen from the get go and takes a bit of the mystery out of them. Honestly the marketing movies were a little better than the actual movie itself.
The aliens are still creepy looking but are not overly hostile (except on occasion) now that is not to say the movie does not have plenty of blood shed but most of it comes from one of the humans (spoiler alert) and not the aliens.
Surprisingly the film had a lot of heart to it and a good dose of humor to offset the drama.
My recommendation:
See it with an open mind but the squeamish may want to close their eyes at times!
Well some silly business has been happening on mightymuggforum.com , a new customizer named Legendary Customs has come on the scene with well…customs that look exactly like a former members work Jeta Grove Customs but has yet to admit that he is in fact the same customizer just under a new name.
Very strange indeed.
I myself have no beef with this customizer, I’m actually a fan of most of his work and applaud his Battle Cat as the first custom Muggimal (template Muggimal was first designed by Rockslide aka Rocky Davis). It has already been mocked by the infamous Yabemc here.
I’m not sure why he hasn’t just came out and said hey guys I’m back and I’ve changed my name!
Simple right? Possibly he wants the drama and attention, whatever reason I’m glad to have him back in the game to keep myself and other customizers on our toes, whatever his name is.

I guess the teleprompter wasn’t working, way to go Barack “Wee-Wee” Obama on another asinine speech about a health care bill that is in constant flux and change because people are actually reading it…maybe you should take some time and actually read it sir!!!
Well the government has done it again, the failed cash for clunkers had been a bomb for car dealers not in the demand for the program…duh, who doesn’t want free money?!?!
The failure was not on the dealers they made the deals and fronted the cost to only have a small fraction being reimburse. We’re talking a couple million dollars out of 3 billion in outstanding debt to dealers.
This same inefficient government wants to take over all health care in America? Let’s all say a big loud “hell no to Obamacare”!!!

Forgot I had a mugg boiling the other day and when I realized I that I had forgot about it the damn this was burning my kitchen up!!!
Get the fire dept. out here!!! lol just kidding but it did smell like hell for a few hours (mmm…burnt plastic) aired it out and now i have this funny story to share with you.
